The lettuce looks soooo good! Mine often turns out bitter. Also, can a few leaves be plucked at a time instead of the whole thing?

I find that if lettuce gets regular irrigation, the bitterness is kept to a minimum. I often pick just a few leaves from a lettuce plant for a quick salad during lunch.
