Have you ever had to prepare a large number of floral center pieces for an event? Did you notice that your hand was tired and aching after a while? One reason is because the return spring on many floral snips are too strong, making your hand do extra work squeezing the handle together. This floral snip has enough tension to open the snip but not so much that it takes a lot of effort to cut with them. The other reason is the weight, some floral snips are really heavier than necessary. That make not make much of a difference when cutting a few stems, but using heavy snips for an extended period of time can cause unnecessary fatigue. These flower snips are light enough to use all day. We tested these flower snips and found them to be very sharp. We could make very clean cuts without crushing flower stems. The thermoplastic rubber grip makes it easy to hold on to while using. Sometimes you need to get into a tight spot, when that happens, you can reach right where you need with the narrow blade. These are flower snips and are not designed for pruning woody stems although they will cut thin stems.  Ideal for fine cutting and dead heading or all day use in the floral shop.
